Decorating Your Kitchen With A Japanese Zen Bar Stool Theme

If you want something really outstanding in kitchen bar stools in the Zen minimalist style, then you need to see what a place called Outstanding Furniture has to offer in a unique dark rattan Zen bar stool designs. The Three Styles of Zen

Your kitchen bar stools should accent your Zen theme kitchen, but if you are in the planning stage of remodeling you will want to keep three different styles in mind when decorating.

1. The Stone Theme – If your island or kitchen counter is being updated try a stone counter top. Not marble, but a natural stone that even after sealing will remain grey in color. It should look like a large slab. Then choose natural stone and wood accents or incorporate a rattan Zen bar stool series to soften the look. Also bamboo works well when incorporated into the stone and natural grey tones that you will use throughout, even on the walls.
2. Dark Wood – any kitchen counter or island can be made into a Japanese style if you choose tall wooden Zen bar stool creations, especially if they are the traditional saddle seat designs that are very basic and austere. The cabinets should also be dark wood, almost black and the accenting color should be grey, white or pale olive green. Stone or wood cutting boards are a good accent. The stools should be very tall and slim, sleek and unpadded.
3. White and Touch of Natural Color – White kitchen bar stools can be incorporated into a slightly modern Japanese Zen design if you use wooden stools that are painted, not the chrome ones with padding, and stick to straight lines, no curved or dowelled legs or carved accents. Remember Zen is clean and minimalist. If you want a softer version, you can have white counters and cabinets, white stools or rattan woven stools with very simple white cushions on them. Decorate with bamboo chopsticks in a wooden vase, wood frames, stone bowls, and woven mats instead of table cloths. Stick to dark teak wood, bamboo, white painted wood and antique blues hat look more like turquoise, soft natural greens or rustic yellows and burnt orange. Zen bar stool designs should be square or saddle style but not ever with round seats.
